AMAPP Mission Statement
The Australian Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Practitioners (AMAPP) exists to create a trusted and ethical space for psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT) practitioners to thrive. Through peer support, advocacy, and educational opportunities, AMAPP strengthens a movement that honours healing, integrity, and the role of psychedelics in improving mental health and building a healthy society.

AMAPP Accredited Practitioner Directory
The Australian Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Practitioners (AMAPP) maintains a national Accredited Practitioner Directory to recognise professionals who meet AMAPP’s standards for delivering safe, ethical, and culturally informed Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy (PAT) in Australia.
This directory includes fully accredited and provisionally accredited practitioners working under supervision as they complete the requirements for full recognition.
1. AMAPP Accreditation Requirements
To become an AMAPP-accredited member—whether or not you choose to appear in the public directory—you must agree to the following professional standards:
Adhere to the AMAPP Code of Conduct, association standards, and the ethical guidelines of your relevant profession or regulatory body
Not engage in underground or unregulated psychedelic practices outside of legally sanctioned frameworks
Comply with all relevant state and national laws governing psychedelic medicine in Australia
Maintain accurate, up-to-date professional details, including contact information, qualifications, and scope of practice
Promptly notify AMAPP of any changes to your registration status, criminal charges, ethical complaints, or other professional concerns
Participate in ongoing supervision, reflective practice, and professional development relevant to psychedelic-assisted therapy
These commitments apply to all AMAPP-accredited members, regardless of whether they are listed in the directory.
2. Additional Commitments for Directory Listing
If you choose to be listed in the AMAPP Accredited Practitioner Directory—whether with public or peer-only visibility—you are also agreeing to the following responsibilities:
AMAPP Member Commitments – Clinical Database Summary
All practitioners listed in the AMAPP Clinical Practitioner Database are required to:
1. Qualifications & Training
Hold recognised qualifications and professional certifications relevant to their field (e.g., psychology, psychiatry, psychotherapy, social work, or equivalent)
Have completed accredited training or supervised practice in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy (PAT)
2. Ethical and Legal Practice
Commit to AMAPP’s Code of Conduct, prioritising harm reduction, client safety, and evidence-based care
Agree not to engage in underground or unregulated psychedelic therapy practices
3. Registration and Notification Obligations
Maintain current registration with their relevant professional body (if applicable)
Promptly inform AMAPP of:
Any changes to their professional registration
Criminal charges, ethical complaints, or allegations of professional misconduct
4. Database Profile Accuracy
Keep their AMAPP database profile up to date, including contact information, qualifications, and areas of specialisation
Acknowledge that AMAPP may conduct routine audits to ensure database accuracy and professional integrity
5. Profile Visibility Options
Choose your preferred level of visibility:
Public Visibility – Your profile is accessible to the general public for referrals and client access
Professional-Only Visibility – Your profile is viewable only by other AMAPP members and professional peers
Accreditation Pathways
Practitioners listed in this directory have been recognised by AMAPP in one of the following categories:
Psychedelic-Assisted Therapist (PAT) – Clinicians trained in all phases of PAT with a background in psychology, counselling, or psychotherapy
Psychedelic Facilitator (PF) – Support professionals trained to assist in preparation, dosing, and initial integration
Psychedelic Prescriber (PP) – Psychiatrists or doctors authorised under Australian law to prescribe psychedelic medicines and trained in PAT delivery
Practitioners are either:
Fully Accredited – Having completed required PAT-specific training, supervised hours, and credentialing
Provisionally Accredited – Currently undergoing supervision and fulfilling final requirements for full accreditation
